Anti-Slavery International supports today's fight for tomorrow's freedom by exposing current cases of slavery and campaigning for their eradication, supporting the initiatives of local organisations to release people, and pressing for more effective implementation of international laws against slavery.
The result was............
I ran the marathon in 4 hours 5mins and 11 seconds! However, it was not one of my best with cramp beginning to appear at 17 miles and crippling me for the last 4. nevertheless it was a wonderful sunny day with masses of support turning London into one big carnival.
With cash donations I have now exceeded my £4000 target but would always welcome more. Anti Slavery international as dedicated to fighting enslavement of adults and children whether as indentured workers or child soldiers.
Undaunted, i will be back pounding the pavements next year
