Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children's Hospice provide specialist palliative care to adults and children across the Fylde Coast and much needed support for their families. Our services are available free of charge, but with limited government funding we need to raise £14 million every year.

Story

                        Flora London Marathon 2009

In 1989 I unfortunately lost my Dad to cancer, during the last few weeks of his life he was cared for by the by the kind people at Trinity - The Hospice in the Fylde.

Trinity is a specialist palliative care service. They care for adults and children who have progressive life-limiting illnesses who have developed complex needs because of their illness. They aim to look after the whole person, caring for their physical, emotional, psychological and emotional needs as well as they can.  In doing so they aim to add to each individual’s quality of life.
Where possible they extend that care to the individual’s family and careers.

In an effort to support the great work carried out by all those at Trinity I will be running the 2009 Flora London Marathon, any donation of any size would be gratefully received and will be put to great use caring for other families who unfortunately find themselves in a similar situation to myself a few years ago.

Thank-you for your support.

Michael.
