<p>Thanks for stopping by.</p> <p>Having lived in the Caribbean for eight years I have experienced first hand how families, communities and&nbsp;whole islands are affected by natural disasters.</p> <p>From two thirds of Montserrat being swallowed by a pyroclastic cloud in 1997 to hurricane Ivan&nbsp;flattening 80%&nbsp;of Grenada in 2004; the 2010 Haiti earthquake however really hit home as a close family friend died under the rubbles of a hotel in Port-au-Prince.</p> <p>Long since forgotten the people and especially the children of Haiti still suffer from the aftermath of the quake.</p> <p>Thank you for helping put back the children's smiles by donating to the&nbsp;Haiti Hospital Appeal.</p> <p>Michael</p>
