St John Ambulance is local to you. They have 44,000 volunteers across the country with a local group in most towns.They have been providing first aid cover at major puplic events since Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.

When large crowds gather for public events such as Wimbledon, The London Marathon, Lords Cricket, The Grand Prix there needs to be first aid cover to ensure peoples safety and wellbeing there volunteers are trained in advanced first aid and lifesaving skills and attend thousends of events each year. 

St Johns Ambulance dont just stop at puplic events they also attend to car accidents, floodings, fire occurs  providing excellent support.

I would really appreciate it if you would help me raise £1350 for a fantastic charity, and to secure my place in the flora London marathon April 2009.
