Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

I know I'm scrounging from you again, but this time it's personal! This year, I'm doing it for me Mam!

For those that don't know my Mam, Christine, has fought MS for a number of years. She's come back from being almost crippled by the illness to this year walking 3 miles to raise money for cancer research in memory of my Dad.

MS affects many people in the UK and around the world. It's not understood what causes MS nor how to cure it. The money you pledge will go towards funding vital research that may help understand the illness better so one day a cure may be found.

I'm aiming to complete the run this year in 1 hr 50 mins, which is 13 mins better than I've managed before. I'll be spurred on by both the inspiration I get from my Mam's bravery and the support I get from those who've put their hard earned cash behind me. I'm grateful if you give what ever you can - any amount is appreciated.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain & Northern Ireland gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
