Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Gurkha Welfare Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So far so good with the training, but will keep you all up dated.Have entered the Hastings Half on15th March and the Paddock Wood Half on 5th April..Still no problems with general health and fitness.

15.3.09. Successfully completed Hastings Half in 1.48.20,my quickest half by 10 minutes all bar 3 seconds. No ill effects. Now need to increase the time on my legs. Next landmark-Paddock Wood Half.

5.4.09. Paddock Wood Half today in 1.56.59. Had rather a tight hamstring after last week's long run of 31/4 hours. Training reduces now in the3 weeks before London so confident will be at full fitness by then.

23.4.09. Training is all finished. Just got to wait for the big day. Fully fit and raring to go. Can't  believe we're almost there. Sponsorship support has been way beyond my wildest dreams.

27.4.09. It's all over!!!. Finished in 4hours 51minutes 14 seconds and none the worse for the experience. A wonderful day, fantastically organised and a never-to-be forgotten experience. Will provide a further update when final sponsorship total known. Thank you to all who have supported me. When the going was tough yesterday, the thought of you all behind me was a great motivator.

13.5.09. I shall be visiting the Gurkha Welfare Trust at Salisbury tomorrow and will be swelling their funds by a total of £4872 82. This is made up of the sums quoted below plus a figure of £349.44 in respect of manual Gift Aid forms. Many thanks to you all. This will be the last update. Over and out!!!!!.
