About our charity : Bolton Lads & Girls Club Bolton Lads & Girls Club
The Lads & Girls Club is a Positive Place for Children and Young People. 3,000 Children and Young People use the Club every week. Some come just to enjoy the new facilities, for others the Club becomes a second home where they know they will always get a warm welcome and find a caring and supportive member of staff ready to help with any problems they may have.

Our personal message:

I can't believe that I will soon be cyling from Whitehaven to Newcastle when I have a perfectly good car that could make the same journey in a few hours!

We are raising money for the Bolton Lads and Girls Club by completing the 140 plus mile in 2 days.

As is often the case with these personal challenges, the actual process of training doesn't seem that important until the shock factor kicks in and with less time than I have realised I need to get hold of a bike fairly soon!!
