<p class="MsoNormal">So I am now back from New York after completing the marathon in 3hours 43 minutes and 38 seconds!!(<strong>3:43:38</strong>) I was very pleased with his time I would have been happy with anything <4hours but to brake the £:45 barrier was huge achievement for me.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The race itself was amazing there was over 46 thousand starters and over 2.5 million spectators. The atmosphere was electric and the run itself didn’t seem as bad as expected. I ended up running the second half quicker than the 1 due to the last few miles in central park and the thousands of people spurring me on.</p>

<p>Thanks for taking the time to vist my just "giving page", yes, yes you heard right I am taking part in the New York marathon on Sunday the 6th of November 2011, what was I thinking .....</p>
<p>For Those of you who know me you would probably agree, that I am not a born runner, but I am dedicated to training and am slowly, dare I say it enjoying it (bar the countless dull hours on the treadmill). This spurs me on to achieve a good time in the race.</p>
<p>I am doing this for "a breath for life" a charity that helps people of all ages but mainly children suffering from brain damage either from birth or an accidental injury. I belive this is an extremely well worth cause after witnessing some of the improvements following hyperbaric oxygen treatment. Any donation would be appreciated and will directly provide help and support to those in need..</p>
