As some of you are aware last year I trekked to Mount Everest Base Camp to raise money for Quarriers - A Scottish Charity. Thanks to everyone's generous support I raised almost £8500.00! This year I am returning to Nepal to take it one stage further and reach the top of the Mera Peak - approx 6500m (21500ft) this time in aid of the WWF who is one of our major clients at Support Direct. This is a significantly higher altitude and is of a more technical nature than my trip to Base Camp. I am hoping my experience from Base Camp will set me in good stead for this adventure. I am personally covering the cost of the entire trip so every pound, euro, dollar and penny that you donate will be going 100% directly to the WWF. You don't have to go to the roof of the world to appreciate how important it is to help this cause but hopefully my journey will inspire you to help out by making a donation!! It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: WWF-UK gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
