Action for Children- Stuck at Sea, Swansea · 16 June 2009 ·

We protect and support children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support. We ensure their voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives. Our vision is that every child and young person has a safe and happy childhood, and the foundations they need to thrive.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Leading children’s charity, Action for Children, will be taking up to 10 VIP’s … ‘Very Important Prisoners’ … captive for it’s first ‘Stuck at Sea’ adventure on Tuesday 16 June aboard the magnificent Challenge Wales 72ft yacht, to support the charity’s work with children and young people.

VIP’s must raise their ‘pieces of eight’, £800- ransom, by telephoning friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances from their captivity for pledges to secure their release to dry land, certificate of freedom and to escape walking the plank!

I will be amongst the Very Important Prisoners captive and I hope my  friends and colleagues will be all too happy to dig deep to release me for a good cause: helping the disadvantaged children and young people supported by Action for Children.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Action for Children gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
