Hello and thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On October 12 I'll be running in the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money for The Blue Cross and am in need of your support to ensure I reach my fundraising goal of £550.

Through a network of animal adoption centres The Blue Cross rehomes thousands of animals each year who are neglected or abandoned. Its hospitals provide veterinary care for pets of people who cannot afford private vets' fees and the charity also provides practical support, information and advice for pet and horse owners.

The rehoming of animals is a carefully managed process always in the best interests of the animals. Animals receive veterinary care, are micro-chipped and the new owners are always screened to ensure the pet is taken into an environment where it can be cared for properly. This is just one example of Blue Cross's crucial work.

This charity has been operating off the generosity of those using their services as well as fundraising activities for over 100 years now so please contribute what you can to ensure The Blue Cross can continue their wonderful work.
