For the past 25 years, the JoLt Trust has taken countless disadvantaged, ill and disabled teenagers on journeys of a lifetime. During these month-long expeditions to remote places like Alaska and the Andes they learn confidence, trust, respect, self-worth and teamwork.

My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Journey of a Lifetime Trust (JoLt) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
5% of your donation will be going to justgiving, but as I'm not going to see a lot of you for a while or indeed ever agin, I thought this would be an easier way if you did fancy giving me £2, £3 or even £3,50! I think the minimum donation is £2 though. And if you don't feel comfortable in any way giving to this charity after you have had a look at their home page (http://www.jolttrust.org.uk) then either email me as I may be able to tell you more at mikeyjt@hotmail.com, or don't worry, you'll still be my friend!

I will let you know how I do if you want, and oh yea, I'm running a half maarathon in case it doesn't say it somewehere else on this page. 13 gruelling miles around the tractor filled roads of Norwich on an inevitably freezing day in early December!
