ADDISS provides information and support to families, adults and children who struggle daily to cope with the burden of having Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. We are trying to raise money to build a national network of support for families all over the country. We currently run a telephone helpline. We offer training to schools and families.

Story

ADHD is real.  It is NOT just an excuse for bad parenting or naughty children.  There is something that doesn't function correctly in the brain and so behaviour and understanding of how your behaviour effects others is compromised.

I really want to raise awareness about ADHD.  Even in this day and age people are still so uneducated and quick to blame the parents.  ADHD IS NOT A DIRTY WORD!!  If more people understood the problem, maybe more children would be helped.  Teachers also need more educating on how to help these children.  Josh is very lucky in that he has a lot of help and understanding from his school, but not all children are so lucky.

Please donate, even a tiny bit will help Josh and children like him.  Thank you X
