Hi all,

Thanks for taking the time to check out our fundraising page!!

Alex and I are taking part in the British 10k Run in memory of the late Joe Snow. For those of you who know me well, you will know that Joe was my ex partner and that he took his own life in May 2007.

We are raising money for a charity called C.A.L.M, an organization I came across after Joe's death. I wanted to do something to honour and keep Joe's memory alive and hope that by raising money to try to help prevent the same tragedy from happening to others we may be making a good start.

So what is C.A.L.M?

C.A.L.M stands for Campaign Against Living Miserably

The Campaign Against Living Miserably is targeted at young men aged between 15- 35. The Campaign offers help, information and advice via a phone and web service. Anyone, regardless of age, gender or geographical location can call the line.

Suicide is still the second biggest killer of men aged between 15- 35, averaging out at about 3 deaths a day. The services provided by C.A.L.M hopefully helps to save many young men's lives by giving them the chance to talk through their problems, a service which if Joe had known about may have helped to save his life.

To help us raise money for what Alex and I believe is a very worthy cause you can make a donation, no matter how small by sponsoring our run http://www.thebritish10klondon.co.uk/. Please also feel free to come and catch us in action on Sunday 12th July! We would love your support.

Thank you so much,

Michelle & Alex
