Taking part in the London Marathon was one of the greatest days of my life. It took me 5hrs 13mins to complete, about half hour slower than I'd hoped for but who knows there is always next year

As i sit to type this i'm feeling quite emotional. It's taken 5 years to get a place and here i am just weeks away from running the greatest challenge of my life-26.2 miles!!
I've chosen to raise money for the Huntington's Disease Association.
Huntington's disease is a rare hereditary neurological disorder. It damages the nerve cells in the brain and causes deterioration and gradual loss of function around areas of the brain. This affects movement, perception, awareness, thinking, judgement and behaviour, eventually leading the sufferer to be completely dependant on others.
Many of you will know i have friends affected by this and have seen first hand the impact this cruel disease has.
