My story
Age 53, Mick comes out of retirement to ride in his first charity race following a glittering 34-year career littered with big-race wins all over the world. His British Classic wins include the 2,000 Guineas four times and the Derby three times. He also won the Melbourne Cup and the Belmont Stakes. He was Irish Champion Jockey thirteen times and retired at the end of the 2009 season after his unbeatable association with the brilliant Sea The Stars.

The Bob Champion Cancer Trust team based within the Trust's laboratories is focused in understanding the detailed molecular basis of the development of prostate cancer. Success of this reserach will ultimately lead to better clinical management of this cancer and to new cancer tests and treatments.
