Yes - I hear what you are saying. Surely that overweight unfit lump of lard isn't still intending to complete a half marathon....? Well, actually, yes he is....even if it means crawling over the line in 4 hours!!!

Fundraising for Hospices was something I committed to when mum died with such dignity in St Clare Hospice in February. At that time, we asked for donations rather than flowers and YOU contributed a massive £1,300 to the hospice.

But we all know friends and relatives - old and, sadly, young - who have benefited from this service so this time I've decided to raise money for the wider hospice movement by supporting Help the Hospices.
