It helps individuals with moderate learning and physical disabilities. These individuals find it difficult, if not impossible, to find paid employment in a very competitive workplace. The Emily Jordan Foundation aims to provide an environment in which they will be able to contribute to society and therefore lead more fulfilled lives.

My story

We ran the Swansea 10k event on 27th September in aid of the Emily Jordan Foundation. This foundation was set up in memory of Emily who tragically died in New Zealand in April 2008 after graduating from Swansea University. The foundation has been designed to help individuals with moderate learning or physical disabilities to take on productive and meaningful work which can also help in their personal development and confidence. This is a very worthwhile cause so please do support us in helping raise money by giving whatever you can as Mick puffs his way through 10k, while the youngsters race off into the distance!!!

COMPLETED!! We were all happy with our times (Graeme 45mins, Nat 1 hr00 mins, Mick 1hr8mins) but more importantly we are very grateful for your generous support!! Thank you so much!!
