I will be running the BUPA London 10,000 on May 26^th 2008. All the funds we raise together will go to The PACE Center, a charity committed to providing a loving and inspirational environment to children with physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy.

Before the race:

No rubbish food

No nights of wild drinking

Training 4 times a week minimum

During the race:

Sweating like a pig.

Shaking kness like a first day school boy.

Eating salt packets to void hyponatremia, which according to Wikipedia:

“may result in vomiting, seizures, coma and even death”

After the race:

The shame of having people 3 times your age beat you.

Muscle soreness for weeks to come.

Oh, and I almost forget, sorry to tell you this one but… the pride of doing something that is worth it!
