We believe that all pets should have access to veterinary care – regardless of their owners’ financial situation. Over 100 years, we’ve helped more than 20 million sick and injured pets – providing life-saving vet care to more vulnerable pets than any other animal charity in the UK today.

Story

I'm abseiling down the House of Fraser Building in Telford on September 19th to help PDSA raise much needed funds for pets in need of vets.

Now, I'm a rationale sort of person that doesn't normally feel the need to leave terra firma, so the thought of skydives, bungee jumps and parachute drops strikes me as insane. But an abseil has me attached to a (strong, I hope) rope so how difficult can it be? Well, have you tried it and do you know how high the building actually is?!

As Director of Marketing and Fundraising at PDSA I feel that I have to lead from the front ("don't let your troops do anything you wouldn't be prepared to do yourself" and all that), so I'm casting aside my misgivings in support of this great cause. You can help ease my pain by donating lots of money. If a lot of you give a little, it really will go a long way.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe – t JustGiving will never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly  to PDSA and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I would be very grateful if you could please dig deep and donate now.
