My name is Mike Morgan, I am 19 years old, and I have McArdles Disease.  I am doing this walk to raise money, but more importantly to raise awareness for McArdles.

I have lived in the hospital for over two years due to the severity of my McArdles.  Since being under the care of Dr. Abdenur in CA. and Dr. Slonim in NY, and following their diet and exercise regimen, the quality of my life has changed dramatically.  I am now able to play my drums, attend college, and hike!

Since I cannot travel to Wales, I will be participating here in CA. by walking daily, as well as doing some hiking trails.  I am very excited and look forward to this challenge.
