Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On Sunday 21st August 2011 five members of the Boundary 500 Group (one woman and four men) are undertaking a motorbike journey around the coastline of Western Europe (some 8,000 miles) to raise funds for the Great North Air Ambulance.
The riders taking up this challenge are Allison, Mike, Brian, Steve and Paul. They will be away for 25 days, returning on the 14th September 2011.
To take part, each rider is asked to raise a minimum of £250 and the Group have started this Just Giving page to aid in this target
We are obviously looking for sponsorship and/or donations, no matter how big or how small - it all adds up.
As the time approaches, we will develop this page with photos of the participants possibly with their chosen bikes, though BMW's are predominant, and a bit more detail as we generally make up a route and timetable.
Please try to give generously as the Air Ambulance service is run entirely from donations and not government funded at all.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now and we would ask you to pass this to your friends and colleagues.
