Everyman is an appeal run by The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR). Every year some 10,000 men lose their lives to prostate cancer and over 2,000 others have their world turned upside down by a diagnosis of testicular cancer. These men are the reason we are fundraising for male specific cancers.

Story

"First I was afraid I was petrified, kept thinking I could never live without them side by side" .........

Neil's story.  July 07 I found a lump in my testicle and immediately made an appointment with my doctor.  Within two weeks I was seeing the surgeon.  Two bouts of surgery and three months of chemo later ........ I am still here to tell the tale.  I did survive!

To all you guys out there, if you feel a lump don't ignore it, see your Doc and get it sorted.

So now it is time to give something back.  On the 4th July 2010 two middle aged men (one bald, one fat) are embarking on an unsupported cycle ride from Land's End to John O'Groats. Sound easy? How about 75 miles and 5,000 calories a day for 14 days, 72,000 feet of hill climbs and a total of over 1,000 miles!

Right then, whilst you have your hands in your pockets having a quick check, how about donating what you can to a good cause? Testicular cancer research is currently 10 years behind other cancer research so any donation would be hugely appreciated.

Many thanks

Mike and Neil
