Story
So,
This is Ben Nevis. Biggest Mountain in Scotland
Looks big doesn’t it,
And rocky
And isn’t that cloud below it.
I’m meant to be climbing it on the 12th July (With Steve, Rich & Doug). That’s after climbing Scarfell Pike (biggest mountain in England) and Snowdon (biggest mountain in Wales) the day before. When I say the day before it sort of includes the night as we have to climb Snowdon in the dark. Sounds like a great idea doesn’t it.
The whole deal is that we have to climb the 3 peaks in 36 hours with a specially laid on train taking us (and the other participants) to and from the mountains. We’re not doing it for fun (not after seeing the size of that thing) , it’s on behalf of the charity the Railway Children who do a lot of great work helping children in and around railway stations throughout the world. Why not visit their website to find out the sort of work they do.
Thanks for taking the time to visit this site, if you’ve got a minute or two more press the Sponsor us now button at the bottom and help the Railway Children carry on their great work
Cheers,
Mike
p.s. I haven’t got photos of the other mountains because the one of Ben Nevis rather put me off
