Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Due to the outbreak of the foot-and-mouth disease, this year's Windsor Half Marathon scheduled for September 30th is cancelled.  The Windsor Great Park is part of the restricted zone and the event organiser had no alternative other than to cancel the event this year. This is normally the main fund-raising event for CRASH, the Construction and Property Industries Charity for the Homeless, raising £40k for this charity last year .

I have decided to try to raise money by competing in another challenging event to raise some money to bridge this gap in funding for CRASH charity.
I have chosen the Original Mountain Marathon an event is being held in the Lowther Hills, Southern Scotland 27/28th October 2007, first and most famous and largest mountain marathon in the world , competed by famous explorers such as Ranulph Fiennes.
I will attempt to compete this 2 day endurance orienteering event , covering 52 kilometres in two days, carrying full ruck sack with tent, food, sleeping bag and survival kit...and some chocolate bars!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: CRASH (The construction and property industry charity for the homeless) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
