In memory of Jake Hall

Every week in the UK, around two families are told their child has neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. We fund leading research projects to deliver new, effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma. With your help we can save more young lives.

Thank you to everyone for being so generous. I completed the Loch Ness marathon on Sunday 3rd October in 3h 44m 53s. I was really pleased with the time! Next event is The Great South Run on 24th October.

I've entered the Windsor half marathon today which is on 26th September. It should be good prep for the Loch Ness marathon the following week on 3rd October. Bring it on!

In 2004 my nephew Jake Hall lost his batte with Neuroblastoma, an agressive childhood cancer.  He was just shy of 12 then which means he would have been 18 this year.  In order to mark this occasion I have decided to set myself a challenge of taking part in at least one event every month in 2010.  This will mostly be runs, but will also include the occasional triathlon.  You can check out the latest on events entered and completed at my website: http://keeponrunning.tumblr.com/
