Les Boutières: 120km sportive cycling event in France; 2,122 metres of climbing over 5 cols in the Ardéche region of France.

On 20th June 2009, to celebrate reaching three score years and ten, I completed this French sportive cycling event in aid of CancerCare. My report on the ride will be made available on our local CTC website at: www.ctclancaster.org.uk in July.

CancerCare is a local charity dedicated to the support of people with cancer, their families and their carers, and those bereaved by cancer.

CancerCare's services are available to anyone in North Lancashire and South Lakeland, and have been developed in response to the expressed needs of those whose lives are affected by cancer.  All CancerCare's services are provided free of charge.
