Story
I'm participating in four Edinburgh runs this spring/summer for a variety of reasons, but primarily in memory of my nan, Ivy May Clark. I've written a short blog entry about her here: http://youwinagaingravity.wordpress.com/2010/02/12/hellogoodbye.
I was planning on running the Meadows Marathon this year anyway but my nan's passing made me want to do a bit more. So, I've decided to do four runs instead of just one to try to raise as much money as possible for Alzheimer Scotland. These runs are:
March 7th: Meadows Marathon
April 18th: Chris Hoy Edinburgh Half Marathon
May 2nd: BUPA Great Edinburgh Run
May 23rd: Edinburgh Marathon 2010
So there's a couple of marathons, a half marathon and a 10k in there - I've certainly got my work cut out! The first one is this Sunday but as you can see they're going on until the end of May, so there's plenty of time to donate to this fantastic cause.
