Story
Last year Mark and I entered our first Marathon and after we had finished, medals proudly around our necks, we both agreed that once was enough for running 26-miles. But an hour or so later we had forgotten the exhaustion, the pain and the hundreds of miles of training in the cold and dark, we were already planning for 2006! Why did we change our minds so quickly? There were several reasons for that, firstly it was just a fantastic experience running through hundreds of thousands of cheering people; secondly, pushing yourself to the absolute limits of your physical and mental capacity is something that is very rewarding (afterwards) and well worth doing more than once in a lifetime, and finally, knowing that through your kindness and generosity the money that we raise for Addaction might just help someone so much less fortunate than ourselves makes all of the pain, all of the emotion and all of the effort so very worthwhile.
Please help us once again to reach, or better still, beat our target of £3000 by sponsoring our efforts to run our second and probably last London Marathon.
Many thanks in advance for your support
