Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Whether you found it by chance or by design, welcome! And don't go away...

I decided to make a big commitment to a great cause and I'm asking you to do the same by sponsoring me. And believe me, this is a big commitment. I'm overweight, unfit and I don't like getting up in the morning. But from here on in, it's 4 training sessions a week and just over 26 miles on the 22nd of April. It's going to be hell...

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Hearing Dogs For Deaf People will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Please sponsor me. Your money really is going to a great cause and will make a real difference to at least two lives (three including me). I'm aiming to raise at least £1000 (matched by Microsoft) so a total of £2000. If I raise £2500 (hence £5000 in total) that's enough to train a new hearing dog and pay for its routine servicing etc.

Thank you!

An example to us all! Donation by Matt Deacon on 21/06/07
