Project Ecuador - February 2009
Thanks for visiting our Project Ecuador fundraising page.
In February 2009, Jenny and I will be travelling to Ecuador to spend 11 days toiling in the jungle to repair El Pedregal Primary School approx an hour and a half drive from Quito, at an altitude of 3500 metres. The school has approximately 35 children, from 4-11 years old, taught by 3 teachers. A number of the local community are Chagra’s (Andean cowboys) who work the local farms, manage cattle.
The community has approximately 120 families and these are located in both Pedregal and the next village of Loretta.
To help fund the materials needed, we are looking to raise £8000.
