Story

Well, we did it. 20 miles! I worked out that is from my house to Winchester Cathedral!

We thought it would be easier than the Derby Dales, as it said 'undulating walk' - no kidding!  But where would the challenge be if not hard!!

Again, the atmostphere was electric, very well run, the roll we got at the end was very much needed.

Would I do it again - probably.

Thank you to those who have sponsered me, and to those who have not got around to it, It is not too late, all money can still be donated to this site, or given to me and it all goes to a very deserving cause - which was very apparent on the day.

My aches and pains after the walk are nothing to the brave ladies (and gents) who acheived - for what ever reason.

The walk this year was  very important, because one of the ladies we were with last year has sadly lost her battle with Breast Cancer.  The first time I met her was at the walk in the Derbyshire Dales and she was truly a lovely person. Her husband, children and friends did the 10 mile walk in her honour

Thoughts of her and her lovely family she left were with me, and other loved ones who have been taken by one type of cancer or another.
