Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

When my wife, Suzie, was diagnosed with cancer the staff of the Macmillan Centre in Portsmouth were very helpful.
They offered us advice on which benefits we could claim, and offered all sorts of therapy to help take her mind off things.
She now volunteers with them as a tutor in creative therapy, and tutors on a Living With Cancer course.
After all the help Macmillan have given us over the last 5 years I would like to take this opportunity to give them something back
I hope you will join me in supporting this worthy cause.

Between 27 and 31 August 2008, I will be joining around 80 people cycling from London to Paris as part of Macmillan Cancer Support's London - Paris Cycling Challenge. We will be cycling for 4 consecutive days and covering just over 470km.
It promises to be an extremely testing physical challenge, cycling over undulating countryside and in all weathers. The event, and the months of preparation and training, will be tough but I am doing this in order to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
