Well it is now all over. I have completed over 650 miles during training and over 300 miles on the challenge. The event itself was tough and a real 'tester', running on and off road, through sand, mud and water in the heat on the sun but we made it. What a great group they were and I am priviledged to have been associated with them. Before we left we made a visit to a local site that  Transaid are supporting and this just added impetus to see the dedication and enthusiasm of the trainging centre staff. It is the only driver traing centre in Zambia and road deaths are regarded as the third biggest killer in the country. On a personal basis I hope I made a small difference because thats where it all startts.

Anyway thank you all because together we have done it. We met the target and as a group we have raised over £80k.
