A warm welcome to the Mike The Bike Cycle Challenge 2008. This is the first event to be held celebrating the life of Mike "The Bike" Whitwell who sadly passed away in September 2007.

Inspired by Mike's cycling achievements for Weston Hospicecare, Ben, his son and friends will be cycling from Mike's home in Hutton, Weston-super-Mare to Land's End in the middle of June 2008, which would have been Mike's 60th birthday. They will be riding with no back-up vehicles, probably hungover and mostly overweight!
