Story
Success - I finished the walk last Saturday 10th May - 13 hrs - starting at 05:50 and finishing at 19.15 - It was hardwork - a long slog - and I'd got big blisters at 20 miles.
But the sun was out and the Lake District looked really beautiful, I had a great support team and it was nice to meet so many friendly people on the day. Dispite the blisters - I might consider doing it again,

I am attempting the Keswick to Barrow 40 mile walk on Saturday 10th May with a team from work, BAE. I enjoy the going for short hikes in Pennines & Peak District on the weekend - but this will be a real challenge. 
I'm hoping to personally raise money for St Margaret's Somerset Hospice - a charity that looked after my grandmother, Betty during the last few weeks of her life; providing her with the best possible care and an environment, which was welcoming to the family.
