The Lullaby Trust exists to keep babies safe and to keep grieving families supported. We fund life-saving research, empower families with expert baby safety advice and support grieving families through their darkest days. We won’t give up until no baby dies suddenly or unexpectedly.

Story

MILE IN MEMORY

Charity Walk for FSID (foundation for the study of infant death)

We are doing a mile in memory in honour of 3 special little angels who were all taken too soon!

My beautiful baby niece Renée who was sadly taken from us on 18 December 2010 at the age of only 10 days.

My friend Kelly’s twin sister Jolene, who was taken 32 years ago aged 3 months old.

My friend Kerry’s Son Devon, who was taken 13 years ago aged 3 months.

Very sadly, around 7 babies a week still die suddenly for no known reason and more families are left devastated. FSID fund research into the causes of cot death and also offer support to families.

I would very much appreciate any support you can offer, be it by sponsoring me, walking with me and getting sponsors or by donating a prize for the raffle. We are also looking for volunteers to help on the day.

The walk is taking place at Lewsey Park, Leagrave High Street, Luton on Saturday 12 May at 11am.

Please let me know if you want more info. Thanks xxx
