Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Hi. Thanks for visiting our JustGiving page.

£3,281 is an odd amount to aim for, isn’t it?

This September, we’re doing something different. We’re going up. Up and up! To the summit of the UK’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. What could possibly go wrong?! 😬

In 2018 our mum, Dad’s wife and Hattie and Lucy’s mother-in-law Claire (pictured above), was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease - the world’s fastest growing neurological condition. It’s such a complex disease that a cure has proved elusive…

We’re nothing if not ‘glass half full’ kind of guys, though!

We all know that innovation and research is expensive. So, we’re doing our bit.

The family has raised nearly £12,000 over the past three years. Fundraising evenings, sponsored walks and Louis was even kind/mad enough to run a half marathon… 🏃

£3,281 will take our total family fundraising effort to an incredible £15,000 in just four years!

Times are tough, so we appreciate any support you can give… we’re off to stretch!
