Story
In 2013 my father, Chris Marr, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. The next few years were pretty hard, both for him and our family around him.
In February 2020 he finally lost his battle, and at 71 years of age, he left us.
He taught me to push myself, to learn, to grow, and to travel, see new places and meet new people.
The Alzheimer’s Society were incredibly supportive and helpful to my Dad, and also to my Mum. I would like to support their efforts in whatever way I can, if you could help me support them I would be eternally grateful
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
