My story
In memory of the recent passing of our little man Milo Gerring-Hilder 
, who passed away just 2 weeks before his 1st Birthday, we are raising money for 'Friends of PICU' (Southampton Hospital Paediatric Intensive Care Unit), and we would really appreciate it if you could make a donation.
The charity 'Friends of PICU' is a charity run by some of the nurses and parents, and they are currently raising funds for a Psychologist / in-house Counsellor. A very much needed new facility to support parents, children and families who like us have had or have a child in PICU. This is a immensly stressful time for everyone concerned - it is very hard to explain in words what emotions you go through when in hospital and feeling so vulnerable, therefore this is a much needed addition to the broad service provided in PICU. The charity are hoping to fund it for the first 3years - aiming to raise £100,000. In addition they raise funds for new state of the art specialist equipment and a dedicated PICU ambulance when anew updated one is required.
