Disaster struck on my last ride before the challenge  -  I only went and fell off my bike ending up in A&E with a broken left distal radius (Broken wrist in non medical talk) and two broken fingers on my right hand.  I have been out of action since then. Amazingly, the Doctor, this week,  has given me the all clear to get back on the bike, so 2nd time lucky I am going to have a go on the 25th July's 100 mile BHF event.

1 Day 100 miles off road riding across the South Downs 10,000 ft of climbing. - Must be mad. Did it last year and swore never again, one of the hardest rides I have done so far in a day. Please help to raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation and sponsor me any amount will do no matter how small !!

I will think of my lovely son's smile and his jokes when it gets tough and they will encourage and motivate me on to complete the ride. Sadly he died aged just 6 years old on the 2nd December 2005. I miss him so much!
