The object of the charity is to relieve sickness and distress among children suffering from cancer and their families. The trustees do this in any way that will be beneficial to the sick child & family. This is usually in the form of free holidays taken in one of the charity's properties on the coast in Hampshire. It also provides play/medical equipment for hospitals/individuals, organises special treats, raises awareness of childhood cancer & donates funds for UK neuroblastoma research

Story

Thank you for visiting my just giving page :)

My family and I received the heart-breaking, life changing news in September 2010 that our 5 year old son Lucas had Leukaemia. Lucas is now 67 weeks into 170 weeks of chemotherapy. He has endured so much yet he remains happy and brave and continues to inspire us and others around us to keep going, stay strong and raise awareness and money for charities like The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund. I am going to run the Milton Keynes Marathon on April 29th 2012 to help raise money for The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund. This charity allowed us to have a family holiday together giving us much needed break away from home and hospital during the first few months of Lucas's treatment. We were also very lucky to be invited on an extra special trip to EuroDisney with the charity in December 2011. I would really appreciate any help you can give, please donate as much as you can and share this page to help me raise awareness about this amazing charity so it can continue to give the gift of happiness and memories to treasure forever to many more families whose children are suffering from cancer.
