Story

I now have a matched giving pledge which will cover all the expenses of the trip itself, meaning that every penny YOU donate will go directly to the work of the charities. Please give generously and join in the fight against breast, cervical and ovarian cancers.

FURTHER UPDATE - Dad (Alan Dix) is also joining us for the C2C which has been postponed to October due to medical "complications" for one of the party......

UPDATE - Janet and Rachel are joining me in a (mini?!) challenge this August! We are cycling C2C across the North of England - Whitehaven to Tynemouth (137 miles) in 4 days. Please give generously - we need all the motivation we can get!

I recently made one of the crazier commitments of my life so far - to cycle 400km across Kenya in the Women V Cancer charity challenge. The challenge is three-fold: to fundraise a minimum of £2,800, to train consistently over the next 18 months and increase my fitness, and to complete the cycle ride itself.

I am raising money for three incredible causes: Breast Cancer Care, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust, and Ovarian Cancer Action. Cancer affects us all at some point in our journey and the work that these charities do could change your life or that of someone you know.

Please visit my blog regularly for updates on my progress with the training and fundraising and for more information on the work of the charities.
