Story

Hello!

I've decided to put my stamina to the test by cycling through Vietnam and Cambodia in order to help the British Heart Foundation (BHF) carry on with their life saving work.

Departing in early November 2011, I'm aiming to make it from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to Angkor Wat in Cambodia (a distance of approx. 450km) over 5 arduous days - cycling across some tough rural and off-road terrain.

I'm no cyclist (yet) so this is going to be a big challenge for me! I'll be doing plenty of training between now and November and will keep all my sponsors updated with my progress via my Facebook and Twitter.

Although I'm not setting off until November I need to start fundraising now. I realise this is a tough time for everyone financially, but any donation would be greatly appreciated.

Please dig deep and sponsor me now!

Why am I doing this?

I'm doing this because the BHF save thousands of lives every year and rely on donations to help continue their ground-breaking research and vital health initiatives.

By setting myself this task I'm hoping to raise sponsorship money for the BHF, whilst getting myself into shape and doing something that inspires me to make a difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the BHF and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for your support!

Paul
