Sunday in the Park with Sam

Well, I've done it! On Sunday 29 October, I took part in Stride Hyde Park, a 10km walk in celebration and memory of those affected by breast cancer, to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The weather was lovely, sunny and warm - thanks Matt. I walked the course in 1hr 40, miraculously managing not to get lost or go around the Serpentine more than the twice expected of me.

Gromit didn't join me - he looked suspiciously like he was laughing at me when I left the flat that morning - but I had plenty of support in the form of Tracy, Mark, Allie and Pete (thank you!).

Finally, a reminder of the people I was walking for: Dad's mum, who I never met, and Aunty Lesley. Also Hillary, Flo and Lom, who mean a great deal to some very special people.
