Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my  page.

This year I am raising money for Parkinsons UK in memory of my father who had Parkinsons and dementia.

It's a nasty diesese to witness.

He slowly disappeared over a few years until one would only get short moments of clarity from him (these became very precious).  A minute here or there when he would suddenly remember who he was and those around him...and then he would be gone again; vacant.

However despite all this I am sure he played upon it at times which was quite funny.

Once he pretended to be dead in my car, when I had to do an emergency stop. He  slumped forward and didn't move in his seat....then eventually he looked up and smiled saying 'fooled you, not dead yet!'

He did have a dry sense of humour....and I miss him so I want to do something to push myself, my pain threshold and determination as a way to remember him and all the pain he suffered.

Parkinsons UK is a great charity and so I would like to raise as much as I can for them

This is the only time this year I will ask for donations.

I hope you can all help a little. Thanks you.x
