The team at Mirus are going to complete a bike ride from Mirus HQ in Milton Keynes all the way to the NSPCC offices in London. The event is taking place on Saturday 27th November and we hope to raise as much money as possible.

Mirus we will be supporting the NSPCC 1600 Club to raise funding for the training of new volunteer ChildLine Counsellors.

£1600 is the cost of training each of these volunteers and the charity have targeted to raise enough money to pay for an additional 30 within the next 6 months working with local businesses and community groups.  This is vitally important as last year ChildLine received over 2400 calls from children using a land line from the Milton Keynes postcode.  ChildLine think that this is just the tip of iceberg, it is estimated from the number of calls received overall would be at least double this amount if mobile numbers were to be included.

As part of the challenge Mirus will have up to 6 months to raise £1600 through varoius challenges, so we’ll be looking for support from all our customers, friends and family. This bike ride is just the beginning of our challenge to help this amazing charity.
