Story
The kindest, caring, and loyal person I've ever known disappeared in April 2010, and his family are now living in limbo. I would love for Murray to return home safe and well. I think of other families who are going through a similar experience, and I would not wish that pain on anyone. I cant do anything to help Murray or his family and because of this helpless feeling I want to help at least one of the 250,000 people that go missing each year.
Missing People is a charity that helps to search and provide specialised support to end the heartache and confusion for those who are left behind.
Like all charities they rely on donations to carry out their good work. Their official sponsored run is on the 13th March 2011, but I cant wait until then, I need to do something now.
I have decided to do a 10k (6 mile) race on 10th October, my entrance fee will go to Grove House Hospice, and all sponsorship that I raise will go to Missing People.
I will run with a picture of Murray on my back, along with the crimestoppers phone number. I am running not only for Murray, but for Geraldine, Tony and everyone who loves him. If every member of this page is able to donate £1, together we can raise over £4000 for the charity.
