<p>I am now officially a Gherkineer as I have successfully completed my stair race challenge. Very succesfully, if I may add.</p> <p>8 minutes and 48 seconds to get to the top of the Gherkin (or 1037 steps over 38 floors). To boast a bit more, I came 172th out of just under 500 people. Now, who isn't impressed?!</p> <p>The view was good despite the weather being miserable (thank God the race was inside!). I also enjoyed the bubbly (ok, I had two glasses instead of one).</p> <p>Please help me now to raise some more money for Childline and NSPCC. Every little bit is appreciated, or you can dig deep.</p> <p>Thank you very much in advance!</p>
