Over the Mensa Milton Keynes Weekend from 23-26 May 2008, we held a prize draw in aid of the British Lung Foundation, in memory of our friend and former LocSec, Colin Zealley, who died from lung disease in October 2007. 

The draw took place on 24 May, and the prizewinners were as follows:

1. Adventure Smartbox - Maxine Bates (Maxine plans to use this for a prize at a charity ball later in the year)

2. Exhilaration activity voucher - Mike Griffiths

3. £50 theatre token - Nick Lidiard-Phillips

4. £15 book token - Patrick O'Donohue

5. £10 theatre token - Mark Sloan.

With the Justgiving site, and tickets sold over the weekend, altogether we raised the great sum of £289 for the British Lung Foundation.  The BLF have confirmed that this sum will be used in aid of pulmonary fibrosis projects, as this was the cause of Colin's death.

This site will remain open for a short time, for anyone else who wishes to support the BLF with a donation.
